We develop UAV & Ground Vehicle based gas detection systems to capture and visualize multi-dimensional gas distributions, improving efficiencies and reducing risks in HAZMAT response, hyperlocal environmental monitoring, ship emission monitoring and other fields.
In 2016, two alumni from the University of Auckland gathered together to explore the possibility of using drones to detect air pollution and to create air pollution maps with unprecedented spatial resolutions – so that the positions of small fugitive emission sources can be quickly and accurately located. After a series of successful trials using our prototype in 2017 & 2018, we decided to bring this prototype into an actual product named Sniffer4D. Sniffer4D is compatible with different types of aerial & ground vehicles. Since then, we have been continuously refining Sniffer4D solution to expand its applications. As of March 2021, Sniffer4D has more than 700 users worldwide in private sector, public sector, and academic sector.
